Betsyville

Yesterday I went to a friends' interior design presentation at the Macy's at the swanky mall in Scottsdale and afterwards before our diner reservation I went to Betsy Johnson and got the knit stripped dress.
It fits like a dream (once I have the chance I'll take a photo.) I'm really very lucky to have it. There is a little hole on the side that I will have to patch up, but otherwise it is perfect.

On Friday I will be going to Chandler Cinemas to see REPO! The Genetic Opera. I've been trying to see it since September of last year, but was unable. The Director, Composer, and...BILL MOSELEY will be there. If you did not know, I will tell you now, that I am a giant fan of horror and suspense films, and of all the actors in all the horror/suspense films, there is only Sid Haig who is equal to Bill Moseley in badass-ness. I am so excited to meet him. I'm going to paint him a picture and get his autograph and hopefully talk to him for a while and become fast friends. If anyone is going to see REPO! on the 23rd also, try to find me and we can sit together.

XoXo,
Bailey

The Macaron Post

Well dear reader here I am, finally, to show you the wonderful little macarons that I made.

It was suprisingly easy for the admittedly daunting directions. The preparation and cook times were small and they came out tasting fantastic! I made them for a Christmas/Hanukah party at a friend of the family and to my delight they went over very well. One woman even asked for the recipe!

Here we are with the best looking of the macarons:

Qu'est qu'il beau?

It is a plain macaron with vanilla italian buttercream. If I were to change anything I would add just a little less sugar in the buttercream. I'm much more fond of rich desserts rather than sweet ones.

Bon mangez mes amis!
